For the background, I chose a circular pattern because the phrase "In the loop" is constantly used in reference to social media. Social media is a very easy place to cyber bully someone because on some social media accounts you can cyber bully anonymously. If you aren't "In the loop," then you're probably excluded from a group of people. Cyberbullying is looked over because it's online and teachers and parents can't see that it's actually happening. Cyberbullying is very prominent in our generation because we all have social media accounts and cell phones, too.For the colors on my infographic, I chose purple, a minty green, and white. I thought that these colors would help make some areas of the infographic be more subtle and others to pop and stand out. For example, I put a mint colored oval around my percentages because it makes them stand out from the purple background. Rather than choosing a royal purple which represents vanity, I chose a darker, purple because it represents sadness. The more important information was circled in mint green or in between two mint green lines. I did this because I wanted the information to pop off the purple background.
For the title at the top of the page I chose to do a font that was curly because I thought this represented font represents the idea of innocence. Because this font is pretty and curly it could be easily overlooked just like cyberbullying. That is why I chose to do this younger looking font for my title. Until you reach the bottom of the page, the rest of the text is in a legible font because these facts are important and need to be clear. At the bottom, I chose to do two different fonts because one of the quotes relates to males, and the other quote relates to females. I chose to use block letters for the quote referring to boys because I thought that this style would represent a more masculine look. For the quote about girls, I chose to use a prettier and curlier font because this font represents the girls in a more feminine way.
